Payback….

They set me up. Every last one of them. But I don’t forget and my Blasters rarely ever forgive. I had sent Darmas to Belsavus and finally tracked down my former lover Dodonna. I had thought she would have been guarded and set into a serious power play. Well, the guarded part was correct. But the Void Wolf had other plans for the defecting Senator…as a janitor. She begged me to kill her after I wiped out nearly a heavy company of Imperial Troopers. The hallways were littered with corpses and I didn’t feel a thing. Really, I wanted to pull the trigger, both of them as she looked up at me from her knees. But to be honest, death would be the easiest way out. Besides, my crew didn’t want the extra blood on our hands. In exchange for her life, we found out where to find the Void Wolf. She in turn would be stripped of rank, title, privilege and rights. I don’t know how long she would serve a sentence. Personally, I recommended Belsavus…forever. But the Republic probably didn’t want to set a precedence of sending politicians to death camp worlds. Personally, I wanted her dead though. One more name checked off the block.Star Wars The Old Republic-04-29-2015 18-52-59

So, after some sly planning, I was able to get aboard the Void Wolf’s ship. What an arrogant ass! He let lil’ old me get passed all his security and up to his command deck. I really didn’t care much about the Republic’s crisis with Imperial death weapons. I just wanted that fat bastard dead. there he was, gloating over some great invasion plans, I got to listen with amusement. I think the thing that made me chuckle the most his how quickly his Mercenaries would turn on him…for the right price in credits. For the record, I have those credits and I get what I want. They all backed down to watch and well…fat boy is dead. Of course his ship was on a collision course with Corellia so I didn’t get to gloat right back at him over his spilled guts and dieing breath. Go figure, I never get to have fun. I don’t think I had run so fast in my life to find an escape pod. Had to smoke the last few remaining guards on the way. Stupid idiots. They should have run for the pods. Star Wars The Old Republic-04-29-2015 19-35-04

I escaped alright, though the ride felt something like falling down a mountain while riding a hutt ball. Now I had a few more raiders within my ragtag fleet. Good, I get my cut and they can keep sticking it to the Sith. In the meantime, I had quite a few options. Corellia still needed help and looked like it would for several months to come. I’m not sure if I want to directly engage again. Perhaps a lot of gun running and supplies to the resistance. What? Of course for a profit silly! Nothing in life is free, and my services are no exception. at the same time, rumor had it Illum and Makeb needed people of my skills. What the future holds, who knows, but in the mean time, I got an underworld syndicate and a pirate raiding fleet to run. My own Empire is growing day by day. But that’s just the beginning now isn’t it?Star Wars The Old Republic-04-29-2015 20-54-15

Milestone:

I completed the final character storyline chapter 3 for the smuggler and I hit LV 50 last night. I hit Light Level 3, though that’s been a long struggle because I tend to kill things that piss me off too much…I think over all I’ve racked up 1,000 in darkside points. With the lowered cost of Commendation gear I was able to fully mod all of my gear to (140) which is making everything I see at my level die in a hail of bolts and grenades and what not. I’m still working on my Crafting, but Slicing skill is now maxed out to 450. Scavenging is almost there and cybertech is slowing getting to 400. It’s been a pretty solid week of fun and this weekend I’ll be able to join in on my guild’s OPS which I’m pretty excited about. I hope you readers enjoy the Star Wars The Old Republic-04-29-2015 22-55-24quick little stories I write, I know it’s fun writing them. Double Crossed and Sold Out on Corellia…

Personal Log; Cpt. Damios Blackthorne:
You know, one think I hate is a card cheat. But I hate something worse…SELL OUTS! Look, in my line of work, you don’t completely trust anyone. Now even I believe there is some honor amongst thieves. Oh, expect to be cheated, but framed, set up to take a fall..not to mention a bunch of blasters aimed in my general direction? Nope, I can’t forgive that. At first I couldn’t believe the holo recording of BOTH Darmas and Dodonna conspiring against me. Now Darmas I never fully trusted. Dodonna though…I thought we had shared something special. Ok, I’m a sucker for a pretty smile and I never saw it coming. But she is just as much of a political snake in the grass as any I’ve ever known. I gotta give her credit, she had me pegged well in advance.Star Wars The Old Republic-04-25-2015 3-07-33

Now I may have been knocked on my heels over this one, but it doesn’t take me long to jump back up into the gun fight. To be sure, this one I came with both guns blazing. And yes, I left quite a few corpses on the way. I don’t really hate the Imperials, but they get in my way. When that happens, they get smoked without a second thought. In the end, I got ahold of Darmas and we had a little conversation that went like this..AFTER he took a couple of blaster bolts.

“Seems like you played your hand well again Captain, perhaps we can make a deal”

After everything this rat faced bastard put me through…really?

“Nah Darmas, I don’t think so. You don’t have any cards I want.”Star Wars The Old Republic-04-29-2015 7-18-19

“Ah but Captain, I have the entire Dossier on Dodonna’s recruitment and complicity, how bout I give that and you give me a five-minute head start?”

Darmas was crafty, but he always tipped his hand too early in Sabbac, now was no different…

“Or…how about this, you give me that dossier, and I don’t put both these barrels to your head and blow it clean off. What do think Darmas, my terms are sweeter..AREN’T THEY?

I got my dossier, and he got a one way trip to Belsavius. Perhaps he could work on his card playing there in solitary confinement. But now what to do with Dodonna. I really should kill her. She set me up and made it sound like I was a complete idiot. Well, maybe she was a little right…never mind. I’d deal with her soon enough. In the meantime, I figured I’d help out a bit more here on Corellia to repair my damaged reputation. The place is a complete war zone. Now, the profiteering side of me could make a killing in arms and tech sales. If I didn’t have such a cloud of mistrust over me, that would be the first thing I’d do here. But, it was time to invest in reputation, not wealth.

Corellia certainly had the opportunity. House to house fighting, bolts blazing on every street corner and nothing safe. Ya, I have my work cut out for me here.
