They set me up. Every last one of them. But I don’t forget and my Blasters rarely ever forgive. I had sent Darmas to Belsavus and finally tracked down my former lover Dodonna. I had thought she would have been guarded and set into a serious power play. Well, the guarded part was correct. But the Void Wolf had other plans for the defecting Senator…as a janitor. She begged me to kill her after I wiped out nearly a heavy company of Imperial Troopers. The hallways were littered with corpses and I didn’t feel a thing. Really, I wanted to pull the trigger, both of them as she looked up at me from her knees. But to be honest, death would be the easiest way out. Besides, my crew didn’t want the extra blood on our hands. In exchange for her life, we found out where to find the Void Wolf. She in turn would be stripped of rank, title, privilege and rights. I don’t know how long she would serve a sentence. Personally, I recommended Belsavus…forever. But the Republic probably didn’t want to set a precedence of sending politicians to death camp worlds. Personally, I wanted her dead though. One more name checked off the block.
So, after some sly planning, I was able to get aboard the Void Wolf’s ship. What an arrogant ass! He let lil’ old me get passed all his security and up to his command deck. I really didn’t care much about the Republic’s crisis with Imperial death weapons. I just wanted that fat bastard dead. there he was, gloating over some great invasion plans, I got to listen with amusement. I think the thing that made me chuckle the most his how quickly his Mercenaries would turn on him…for the right price in credits. For the record, I have those credits and I get what I want. They all backed down to watch and well…fat boy is dead. Of course his ship was on a collision course with Corellia so I didn’t get to gloat right back at him over his spilled guts and dieing breath. Go figure, I never get to have fun. I don’t think I had run so fast in my life to find an escape pod. Had to smoke the last few remaining guards on the way. Stupid idiots. They should have run for the pods.
I escaped alright, though the ride felt something like falling down a mountain while riding a hutt ball. Now I had a few more raiders within my ragtag fleet. Good, I get my cut and they can keep sticking it to the Sith. In the meantime, I had quite a few options. Corellia still needed help and looked like it would for several months to come. I’m not sure if I want to directly engage again. Perhaps a lot of gun running and supplies to the resistance. What? Of course for a profit silly! Nothing in life is free, and my services are no exception. at the same time, rumor had it Illum and Makeb needed people of my skills. What the future holds, who knows, but in the mean time, I got an underworld syndicate and a pirate raiding fleet to run. My own Empire is growing day by day. But that’s just the beginning now isn’t it?
Milestone:
I completed the final character storyline chapter 3 for the smuggler and I hit LV 50 last night. I hit Light Level 3, though that’s been a long struggle because I tend to kill things that piss me off too much…I think over all I’ve racked up 1,000 in darkside points. With the lowered cost of Commendation gear I was able to fully mod all of my gear to (140) which is making everything I see at my level die in a hail of bolts and grenades and what not. I’m still working on my Crafting, but Slicing skill is now maxed out to 450. Scavenging is almost there and cybertech is slowing getting to 400. It’s been a pretty solid week of fun and this weekend I’ll be able to join in on my guild’s OPS which I’m pretty excited about. I hope you readers enjoy the quick little stories I write, I know it’s fun writing them. Don’t hesitate to rate the posts either or comment on what you read here. To all my current followers, thank you so much for sharing here and on your sites, it’s a lot of fun and enjoyment!
